Chromatics

Support

A person answers. Write to hello@chromatics.mobile and you will hear back within two business days. Most questions are one of the three below, so those come first.

How to reach us

Email hello@chromatics.mobile. We answer within two business days, usually sooner. If it is about your account, write from the address you signed in with, and say which iPhone and iOS version you are on if the app is misbehaving; that saves a round trip.

Sign-in codes

The code didn’t arrive. Check spam or junk first; a search of your mail for “Chromatics” usually finds it. If you signed in with Apple and chose Hide My Email, the code goes to the relay address Apple made for you, and Apple forwards it on.

The code doesn’t work. A code lasts one hour and works once. Tap Send code again and use the newest one; an older code stops working the moment a new one is sent.

The alternative. Continue with Apple needs no code at all. It is the quickest way in, and the way around any mail trouble.

Subscriptions, restore, and refunds

Apple sells and bills Chromatics Plus. Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID settings, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current period runs to its end.

Refunds go through Apple, not through us. Apple explains how at support.apple.com/HT204084. We cannot see your payment details and cannot issue a refund ourselves.

New phone, or reinstalled? Open the Plus screen and tap Restore purchases while signed in to the same Apple ID you bought with. Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase both follow the Apple ID, not the app install.

Deleting your account

In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. That removes your account, your nightstand, your keeps and notes, your gallery, any connected Notion or Readwise, and our record of your purchase, within 30 days.

Or email hello@chromatics.mobile from your account address and we will do it, and confirm when it is done.

An active App Store subscription is separate. Deleting your account does not cancel it; cancel in your Apple ID settings, as above.

If you want your lines before you go, the commonplace book exports to Markdown, CSV, Notion, and Readwise from inside the app. See the privacy page for what we keep and why.

What the app can’t do yet

The fine print

What we collect and why: the privacy page. The house rules: the terms. Both are short and written in plain English.
